PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction related member solving the problem of a glass block and having a wide application range and light permeability. SOLUTION: This translucent block comprises a first frame body, a second frame body coupled with the first frame body, and a translucent member pinched between both frame bodies. One or more light collection sections penetrating both the first and second frame bodies are provided, and the translucent member is installed in the light course of the light collection sections. The first frame body comprises a base section and a protruded section formed integrally with the base section, and a coupling section to be coupled with the protruded section is formed on one face of the second frame body. The holding section of the translucent member is provided at the end section of the protruded section, and the second frame body is coupled and fixed via the coupling section to the protruded section end fixed to the hold section of the translucent member in this translucent block.
