PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive silver halide photographic emulsion excellent in color reproduction in photographing under a fluorescent lamp as a light source, having high sensitivity and less liable to fog in long-term storage. SOLUTION: The photosensitive silver halide photographic emulsion contains at least one compound of formula (1) and at least one compound of formula (2). In the formulae, R1, R2, R5 and R6 are each sulfoalkyl, at least one of R1 and R2 is sulfoethyl; R3 and R4 are each alkyl, alkoxy, aryl or Cl; and M1 and M2 are each a counter ion equilibrated with an electric charge.
