PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve conventional problems such as inefficient workability, lack of diversity in an operation method, and insufficient adhesion and physical/ chemical strength of an adhesive, which are due to the use of a thermosetting adhesive. SOLUTION: A metallic ferrule for an optical fiber connector is constituted such that it is fixed by partially caulking it after an optical fiber is inserted.
