PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually perform data exchange between a computer and a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: This computer 100 is provided with a memory 11 where a program for sentence preparation is stored, a keyboard 12 for inputting data, and a connector 16 for connecting a central controlling means 13 and the portable telephone set 15. When the means 13 detects that the telephone set 15 is connected to the connector 16, the means 13 starts the program for sentence preparation and transmits a prepared sentence to the telephone set 15 on the basis of the data inputted through the keyboard 12.
