PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter power generator which can take allowable variation range of the output voltage of a DC power supply to be wider than that of prior art. SOLUTION: The duty ratio of on/off operation of a switch element of the inverter circuit, required for obtaining the desired waveform as the waveform of an AC output voltage obtained between the load connection terminals 5u, 5v, is calculated as a reference duty ratio D0. A ratio VA/VD of the peak value VA of the AC output voltage to the output voltage VD of the DC power supply 1 is obtained as a compensation coefficient Kv, the product of this compensation coefficient Kv and the reference duty ratio D0 is obtained as the real duty ratio D, a sine-wave AC voltage of the desired amplitude can be obtained across the load connecting terminals, by turning on and off the switching element of the inverter circuit 2 using this real duty ratio D. |
