PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker unit provided with a speaker and a case containing the speaker that can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The case 40 is configured with a synthetic resin made member where a case main body 42 and a protection cover 44 are integrated. Thus, number of the components is reduced by one in comparison with a conventional configuration of the case and the cover consisting of separate members, and a process fixing the case main body and the protection cover is not required. In this case, an opening 48 is formed to a circumferential wall 46 of the case main body 42 and a beam 50 is formed in the inside of the case main body 42. Then the speaker 20 is clamped from both upper and lower sides by the beam 5D and the protection cover 44 while being inserted to the case main body 42 via the opening 48 from a side (this side). Thus, the case 20 of an integral forming structure can easily be realized and the speaker unit 10 can be manufactured at a low cost.
