PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irreversible circuit element of one kind that a relation between an input and an output is inverted under the same terminal layout on a mounted board and to provide a communication unit using the irreversible circuit element. SOLUTION: Center conductors 51, 52, 53 are placed in crossing over a ferrite 54 to which a DC magnetic field is applied, matching capacitors C1, C2, C3 are connected between ports P1, P2, P3 of each center conductor and ground and a termination resistor R is connected between the port P3 and ground. Input output terminals 71, 72 respectively communicative to the ports P1, P2 are placed to a resin case 7 in nearly point symmetry by using the middle of the bottom face of the resin case 7 as a center point.
