PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emission device of inexpensive and highly functional full color organic EL display body or the like and its manufacturing method, by homogeneously patterning low molecular (monomer) organic luminous layer for each pigment with a high accuracy by means of a wet patterning method. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of an organic light emission device in which a layer which consists of at least an organic material between a pair of electrodes is arranged and in which a voltage is applied between the electrodes and light emission is obtained, the organic material layer is formed by the wet patterning method in which an ink containing the organic material in an hydrophobic organic solvent that has not more than 5 wt.% of solubility in water at the room temperature.
