PURPOSE: A fireproof material is provided, which has improved strength by increasing amount of ultrafine alumina powder, and spalling resistance by mixing zirconia(ZrO2)-alumina(Al2O3) and zirconia-mullite with proper ratio. CONSTITUTION: The sliding plate is comprised of: sintered or electrofused alumina(Al2O3) 60-125wt.%, plasticized alumina 10-20wt.% with less than 50micrometer, sintered or electrofused zirconia(ZrO2)-mullite 5-15wt.%, sintered or electrofused zirconia(ZrO2)-alumina(Al203) 5-20wt.%, metal silicon(Si) 1-5wt.%, carbon(C) 1-8wt.%, and antioxidant 0.5-4wt.%.
