<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor which can properly process a structured document, a document processing method which can be used by the document processor, and a computer-readable recording medium where a program making a computer implement the method is recorded. SOLUTION: This document processor which processes a structured document having its internal data classified into constitution elements having a hierarchical structure is equipped with a user interface for inputting a user's indication to the document processor, a display unit which performs processing for displaying the document, and an editing unit which executes editing commands for editing the structured document according to the indication transmitted from the user interface; and the editing unit has a position information hold part which holds position information including at least one of a cursor position, a bookmark position, and the start point and end point of a selection range. When editing is performed, the position information is automatically updated.</p> |
