<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of a cause that broadcast cannot be received in the reception device of an OFDM signal, which is only for differential demodulation. SOLUTION: An OFDM receiver 1 is a receiver only for differential demodulation, which corresponds to ISDB-T. A WAFC circuit 10 controls the carrier synchronism of subcarrier interval precision, by using synchronous pilot signals (CP, AC and TMCC). The WAFC circuit 10 has a pilot signal arrangement pattern for phase modulation and a pilot signal arrangement pattern for amplitude modulation and it can carrier-synchronize phase modulation data and amplitude modulation data. When the OFDM signal which is amplitude- modulated is broadcast, carrier synchronism is performed and only TMCC is demodulated. TMCC is recognized, and the content of effect that 'reception cannot be performed due to an amplitude modulation signal' is displayed.</p> |
