PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide desktop type electronic equipment which secure its structural strength, improves the assembly, and makes designability and operability better. SOLUTION: A cabinet has three-piece constitution of an upper cabinet 7, a center cabinet 8, and a lower cabinet 9; and an operation substrate 10 is sandwiched between the upper cabinet 7 and center cabinet 8 and a main substrate 11 is sandwiched between the center cabinet 8 and lower cabinet 9. The center cabinet 8 gradually increases in thickness from the front end to the rear end and the operation surface of the top surface of the upper cabinet 9 coupled on the center cabinet 8 is so tapered as to face down.
