摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact lamp, in which an inner electrode that has been set on an inner surface of a glass tube without any deformation and an upsizing of a glass tube is sealed with a blocking body to have a conduction to the outside, and provide a low-cost lamp, in which short-time processing utilizing a low-cost sealing equipment can be realized by minimizing a sealing part, and in which a sealing by a relatively simple facility is realized in a manufacturing line. SOLUTION: In an inert gas fluorescent lamp, at least one inner electrode is arranged on an inner surface of a glass tube, and the other electrode is arranged on an inner surface or on an outer surface of the glass tube. A phosphor layer is arranged such that to cover the inner electrode, an aperture for a light extraction is made in the phosphor layer, the inert gas is sealed inside the glass tube, and a dielectric barrier discharge is utilized. An open end of the glass tube is sealed hermetically by a blocking body having a circular cross section and by a sealing part that utilizes a glass with low melting point. The inner electrode communicates with an electrically conductive part, which is formed by covering a part of the inner electrode with the glass of low melting point, and the electrically conductive part communicates with a linking part to communicate with a feeding part on the outer surface of the glass tube through the sealing part.
