PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which is enhanced in characteristics stability by improving its magnetic circuits in coupling properties, reduced in the number of parts and assembly man-hours, and improved in reliability. SOLUTION: A transformer is equipped with two hollow bobbins wound with coils, at least two U-shaped ferrite cores inserted into the hollows of the bobbins through the ends, making their edge faces bear against each other, at least two supporting bars abutting against the sides of the ferrite core opposite to its other side inserted into the hollows, and fasteners inserted into holes bored in the bars, where grooves are each cut in the outer surface of the U-shaped part of each ferrite core which corresponds to the positions of the holes cut in the bars, and the fasteners are inserted into both the holes and the grooves.
