PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin sheet comprising a thermoplastic or thermosetting resin which, used as substrates of a liquid crystal cell, makes a cell gap uniform and makes excellent display quality without color irregularity or the like obtainable, to provide its manufacturing method and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the sheet. SOLUTION: The substrate is composed of the resin sheet comprising the thermoplastic or thermosetting resin. Spacers used to control the distance between the two substrates placed opposite to each other via a liquid crystal layer are integrated with the substrates without using any adhesive substance.
