PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blue ceramics coated metallic material improved in corrosion resistance by forming a TiAlN layer via a TiN layer. SOLUTION: The blue ceramics coated metallic material is constituted by providing, directly or via a Ti plating layer, a TiN layer to the surface of a metallic base material and a TiAlN layer is formed via the TiN layer. Since the metallic base material is shielded from the atmosphere by the TiN layer, no pinhole reaches the surface of the metallic base material even if the thickness of the TiN layer is small. As a result, the occurrence of black rust in a corrosive atmosphere of salt damage, etc., can be suppressed.
