PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly attach a detection element of a magnetic sensor to the meter case of a magnetic detection type flow rate meters and prevent the attached position from moving. SOLUTION: In the meter case 2 of a water meter 1, a sensor container 21 containing the detection element 23 of the magnetic sensor 22 is formed and the detection element 23 is inserted in the sensor container 21 in a state held by the sensor holder 30. In the sensor holder 30, cylinders 34 and 35 for positioning capable of elastically deforming are formed. By the elastic force generated by the cylinders 34 and 35 forcibly deformed and contained in the sensor container 21, the detection element 23 is attached at a constant position from a magnet and never move from the position.
