<p>A coating device for powder material, capable of applying powder material onto the lower surfaces of a plurality of upper mallets, upper surfaces of a plurality of lower mallets and inner peripheral wall surfaces of a plurality of mortars in a tablet making machine. Air-mixed powder material is sprayed onto the material-contacting surfaces of lower mallets from the lower-mallet powder-material spraying ports of a lower-mallet powder-material spray unit to apply powder material to the material-contacting surfaces of the lower mallets, and air-mixed powder material sprayed from the lower-mallet powder-material spraying ports is sprayed, along the rotation paths of a plurality of upper mallets of an upper-mallet powder-material spray unit, from upper-mallet powder-material spraying ports provided to extend longer than the lower-mallet powder-material spraying ports to spray powder material onto the material-contacting surfaces of the upper mallets, that are hard to be coated with powder material due to a gravity problem, while the upper mallets move from the proximal ends to the distal ends of the upper-mallet powder-material spraying ports.</p> |
