DRY SYRUP CONTAINING THEOPHYLLINE SUSTAINED RELEASE MICROCAPSULES

摘要

A dry syrup containing theophylline sustained release microcapsules, characterized in that no surfactant is contained and that the microcapsules comprise granulates produced by conducting the coating granulation of crystals of theophylline with a coating base material containing a water-insoluble polymer by an air-suspension method. The dry syrup can be prepared without impairing the sustained release properties of the microcapsules even by agitation granulation accompanied with a great mechanical impact, and is so excellent in dispersibility as to dispense with a surfactant.
