PURPOSE: A humidifier by using outer water is provided to compact the humidifier by supplying water from the outside, and to use cleanly and sanitarily without a water tank. CONSTITUTION: A humidifying apparatus is composed of a case(4); a water supply part conducting water from the outside; a steam generating part vaporizing water; a spray part spraying the steam outward; and a power supply. The humidifier is supplied from the outside without an additional water tank. The case is floated on water by buoyancy in a container(2). The portable humidifier is used at any places. The inconvenience at the low humidity is eliminated. The humidifying apparatus by using water from the outside is used cleanly and sanitarily without the water tank or cleaning.
