PURPOSE: A precise setting device for engine test is provided to conveniently meet the shaft center conform condition between a dynamometer shaft, a power transmission shaft and an engine shaft in a short time for the test of the performance and the durability of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A precise setting device for engine test includes a lower unit having a surface table(1) fixed to the ground, a first guide rail(2) attached to a top surface of the surface table, a first guide roller positioned on the first guide rail to be engaged with the first guide rail for sliding motion, a sliding plate mounted on the surface table and attached with the first guide roller on a bottom surface, a second guide rail(8) attached to a top surface of the sliding plate, a truck stopping plate mounted to an end of the second guide rail for blocking off the end of the second guide rail, lower V-shaped blocks(9), a conveying cylinder(15), a fixing plate(6), a conveying direction locking pin(12) and a vertical direction locking pin(20), and an upper unit having a truck main body positioned on the sliding plate, a second guide roller(7) attached to a bottom surface of the truck main body to be engaged with the second guide rail for sliding motion, first and second wheels(5a,5b), upper V-shaped blocks(10), a vertical direction locking bolt(11), a conveying direction locking tool(13), a vertical direction locking tool(14), an engine shaft setting part, and an engine shaft fixing and supporting part(24), wherein the lower and upper units move in the separated or coupled state with respect to each other.
