PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for lending/collecting a product using the internet is provided to offer the supreme service to a client by enabling the customer to grasp the present condition of products which can be lent through the internet and to order the products, and by previously setting the collection time in case that the products are lent. CONSTITUTION: A personal communication unit(100) transmits service data in order to order or reserve a product which a client wants through the internet. A main server(200) receives the service data transmitted from the personal communication unit(100) and drives a program relevant to a service for which the client makes a request. A branch network communication unit(300) reads information on an order and a collection of a product stored in the main server(200) and displays a service screen in order for a branch manager to offer a service according to the client's request. In addition, the branch network communication unit(300) transmits information on the collection of the product to the main server(200).
