A frame for supporting a printed circuit board 16, Fig. 1, comprises elongate elements 10 having a groove 10c in one side for slidably receiving an edge portion of the board, said elements including at one end a mounting foot 10d having an aperture 10e spaced from and parallel to the groove 10c for securing an electrical connector 14 to the element. A pair of spaced sockets 10a are formed adjacent the ends of each element 10 on the side opposite the said one side, and locking ears 10bextend from the element adjacent each socket. The elements 10 are mounted on rods 18, the sockets 10a being half the diameter of rods 18 in depth so that two adjacent elements 10 can be mounted on the same rod, as shown in outline in Fig. 1, and are held in place by locking elements 12 which clamp the ears 10b to the rods 18. Elements 10 and 12 may be made of resilient plastic such as nylon. The board 16 plugs into a socket 14a in the connector 14 which is bolted to two elongate elements 10, and may be provided with a handle 20 fixed by a pin 21 to a comer of the board. A plurality of frames may be secured along the length of rods 18 which may extend between plates 27, Fig. 3, which are hingedly mounted in a drawer 25. |
