High speed and throughput system, for the isolation of of differentiated cell structures, microorganisms, viruses and nucleic acids, comprising a fixed-angle centrifuge rotor and ancillaies which accept small tubes in microtitration strip format, is new. Preferred features: The bores are made directly into the rotor or indirectly into corresponding adapters. Bores or adapters are vertical or are positioned from an outer to an inner radius. The capacity of the rotor using this system is up to 3 x 96 samples. Centrifugation is enabled and carried out in acceleration fields exceeding 20,000g, in correspondingly equipped centrifuges. To load and unload the rotor with samples of differing volumes, corresponding small microtitration tubes, racks and sealing strips are used in the microtitration 8/12 strip format.
