The monitor (10) has a flat screen display (12), e.g. a liquid crystal display, mounted on a stand (14), provided with a projecting section on one side, for fitting into a corresponding recess of a computer, for coupling the flat screen computer monitor and the computer together. The flat screen display can be secured to the stand so that it can pivot through a defined angle, for adjusting the viewing angle.
