PURPOSE: A ceramic body having a brazing bonded plating layer is provided to easily and costly perform brazing bonding between a metal body and a ceramic body by plating a metal material on the metal body bonding part of the ceramic body so that the plating layer plays a role as a metal plate needed for the brazing bonding. CONSTITUTION: The ceramic body having a brazing bonded plating layer is characterized in that a plating layer(100) is formed by plating one layer of a metal material on a metal body brazing bonding part(101) of the ceramic body(1) in a ceramic body which is bonded with a metal body(2) so that the ceramic body(1) simultaneously plays roles of insulation as well as vacuum airtightness in a product such as magnetron for a microwave oven requiring vacuum airtightness, wherein the plating layer(100) is formed by plating a multilayer of the metal material on the bonding part(101) of the ceramic body(1), wherein the one layered plating layer(100) plated on the bonding part(101) of the ceramic body(1) consists of silver or an alloy of copper and silver, and wherein the multilayered plating layer(100) plated on the bonding part(101) of the ceramic body(1) consists of a composite layer of copper and silver.
