<p>A self-scanning light-emitting device such that the power loss by a write current limiting resistor externally attached to a chip is reduced and the rise of the temperature of the optical write head is small. The difference between the H and L levels of the circuit for controlling a transfer section is lower than the difference between the H and L levels of the circuit for controlling a light-emission circuit. As a result, the power consumption by the resistor for write current limitation externally attached to the chip is reduced, and thereby the rise of temperature of the head is suppressed.</p> |
