A ventilation passage radially penetrates through the rotor winding wire (7), chestnut page block (9) and wedge from a sub-slot to rotor core. Ventilation holes (10a) provided to the most external diameter turn of rotor winding wire, contacts the chestnut page block axially and continuously. The coil slot which is arranged axially in the periphery of the rotor core with a predetermined space, has a sub-slot in the lower portion. A wedge fixes the rotor winding wire with the rotor core. The chestnut page block which is inbetween the wedge and the rotor winding wire, is insulated. A ventilation passage radially penetrates through the rotor winding wire, chestnut passage block and wedge from the subslot to the rotor core. The ventilation hole which is provided to the most external diameter turn of rotor winding wire, contacts the chestnut page block axially and continuously.
