PURPOSE: A device for supporting paper moneys received in a cash drawer of a cash register is provided to reduce the number of parts in device, to simplify the process of assembly, and consequently to save the cost of manufacture thereof by simplifying the structure of the support device. CONSTITUTION: The cash register usually consists of a cash storing drawer, several partition plates(154) coupled in the drawer for freely adjusting the width of space defined in the drawer, and a paper money support device(160) installed between the detachable partition plates. The support device comprises a pushing lever(162) for pushing and supporting paper moneys, a fixed part(168) having a support rod(166) and a fixed die(164) for detachably and rotatably bearing the pushing lever, and an elastic member(170) for elastically supporting the pushing lever by contacting the one end of the pushing lever.
