<p>A layered film which comprises a resinous base and superposed thereon a coating film comprising a montmorillonite containing exchangeable cations other than sodium ions and a water-soluble polymer. Even in a high-humidity atmosphere, the layered film has high oxygen-barrier properties and high adhesion between the coating film and the base.</p>
