<p>The invention relates to methods for visual presentation and recognition of biometric characteristics, for example, fingerprints. The inventive method consists in moving a finger along a receiving surface and forming a set of digital elements of papillary fingerprints embodied in the form of a frame sequence, identifying a region of an image (stain) on each frame which corresponds to an optimal touching of the finger against the receiving surface and forming a final image of the fingerprint. A frame placed in the center of a total image is selected from the frame sequence, afterwards pairs of adjacent frames whose central lines pass a center of a common part of the image regions are also selected. The obtained central lines of the adjacent frames being matched, a shifting of the fingerprints near the central lines is analyzed and every element of the image is corrected while forming the final image, taking into account calculated shifting of the papillary fingerprints.</p> |
