PURPOSE: A power supply for a plasma display panel is provided to stably drive a panel by installing a circuit for mixing the signal of the first reference voltage with that of the second reference voltage and booting up the reference voltage throughout the discharge period. CONSTITUTION: An oscillating circuit(11) creates an oscillating signal with the fixed frequency. A pulse width modulation control circuit(12) modulates the pulse of the oscillating signal to maintain the final output driving voltage of power supply which is supplied to a driving portion(300) by comparing the reference voltage with the final output driving voltage. A switching circuit(13) opens and shuts according to the oscillating signal that the pulse width is modulated from the pulse width modulation(PWM) control circuit(12). A filter(14) removes noise elements in the output voltage of the switching circuit(13) and supplies the final output driving voltage to the driving unit. A first reference voltage circuit(151) creates a first reference voltage corresponding to a light loading in addressing operation. A second reference voltage circuit(152) creates a second reference voltage mixed to the first reference voltage in order to create the reference voltage corresponding to a heavy load in a discharge duration operation. A mixing circuit(153) mixes the first reference voltage and the second reference voltage. A reference voltage circuit(15) is composed of the first and second reference circuits(151,152) and the mixing circuit(153).
