PURPOSE: A method for providing E-mail/web site address is provided to retrieve an E-mail and web site address of a subscriber using a serial number such as a wire and wireless telephone number or a resident registration number for directly writing the retrieved E-mail address and moving to the retrieved web site. CONSTITUTION: A client for receiving an E-mail/web site address accesses a web server(11) in which a robot retrieval engine(12) is installed. The web server(11) transmits a text box for inputting a query to a web browser of the client. The client inputs one information as a query in the text box among a wire and wireless telephone number, a name, a resident registration number, the date of client's birth, a part or all of an E-mail address, or a part or all of a web site address. The robot retrieval engine(12) analyzes a kind of the query inputted in the text box and requests retrieval to a corresponding field of a database(13). The database(13) retrieves the query language transmitted from the robot retrieval engine(12) from the corresponding field and outputs the result value to the web server(11). The web server(11) transmits the result value transmitted from the database(13) to the web browser of the client.
