<p>A method and an arrangement are disclosed for resetting a communication connection between a first communication device and a second communication device in a cellular radio system. Firstly, there is detected (201, 404, 501, 604) the need for resetting the communication connection. There is transmitted (202, 408, 408', 502, 607, 219, 519) from the first communication device to the second communication device a first piece of information (203, 210, 503, 510) indicating the need for resetting the communication connection. A resetting procedure (205, 422, 505, 512, 621) is performed at the second communication device, and there is transmitted (206, 213, 424, 506, 513, 623, 623') from the second communication device to the first communication device a second piece of information (207, 214, 507, 514) indicating the completion of the resetting procedure with respect to the second communication device. There is also inserted (408, 408', 623, 623') into a certain piece of information (203, 210, 507, 514) transmitted between the first communication device and the second communication device an indication of an effective number of certain resetting operations associated with a certain detected need for resetting the communication connection.</p> |
