The method involves drilling or boring a hole (7) into a securing element (2) e.g. a clip. The hole opens into the clearance (6) between the collar (4) of a pipe (1) and the recess (5) of the element, while the recess engages the collar. A curing compound (8), containing epoxy resin and metal turnings, is filled into the clearance through the hole. An independent claim is also included for a mounting assembly.
