The fresh air fork has a pot (1) from which a short pipe (5) protrudes radially and whose base (4) has a central bore (12) to which an outwardly directed tube (13) is attached. The inner diameter of the tube is the same as the diameter of the bore and its edge is enclosed at least in part by a tubular attachment (2) which extends towards the opening of the pot and whose inner diameter is likewise equal to the diameter of the bore. The free end area of the tube has a tapering outer and inside diameter and preferably has conical ring segments (11).
