A pharmaceutical composition containing a calcium channel blocker and exhibiting excellent storage stability, which comprises a calcium channel blocker of general formula (A) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof and a pharmacologically acceptable alkaline medium capable of imparting a pH of 8 or higher to an aqueous solution or dispersion of the composition wherein R<1> is optionally substituted C1-4 alkyl, amino, or cyano; R<2> is optionally substituted C1-4 alkyl, substituted C3-4 alkenyl, or substituted 4- to 6-membered cyclic amino; R<3> is substituted phenyl; R<4> is optionally substituted C1-4 alkoxycarbonyl, 1,3,2- phosphorinan-2-yl, or 5,5-dimethyl-1,3,2-phosphorinan-2-yl; and R<5> is C1-4 alkyl.
