A dye-receiver element comprises a support having thereon a dye-receiving layer (1) contg. a thermally-transferred dye image, wherein (1) is laminated to a transparent protective sheet (2) using a phenoxy resin (3) adhesive. Also claimed is a process for laminating (2) on top of the thermal dye image comprising (i) imagewise heating a dye-donor element of a support with a dye-layer, in contact with the dye-receiving element to transfer an image; and (ii) thermally laminating (2) on top of the transformed dye image lying (3).
