ENHANCED MOIRE AND IRIDESCENT EFFECTS CREATED USING DUAL LENTICULAR LENS IMAGING

An enhanced moirè or iridescent pattern and a technique for efficiently making the same are described in which a first matrix of lenticular elements is printed onto a first surface of a substrate and a second matrix of lenticular elements is printed onto a second surface of the substrate on the other side of the first matrix of lenticular elements, the second matrix of lenticular elements being visible through the substrate. The lenticular elements in the first matrix are positioned to optically interact with the lenticular elements in the second matrix.
