The stepping motor positioning method uses a required current signal corresponding to the stator winding current characteristic of the rotating magnetic field, supplied to a regulation circuit (3), for current controlled operation of the stepping motor (1) up to a control threshold and voltage controlled operation of the stepping motor above this control threshold. The required current signal is corrected by an offset value upon reaching and/or exceding the control threshold of the regulation circuit. An Independent claim for an electric drive with a stepping motor is also included. |
