PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce not only the work time up to the finish of grain to predetermined moisture but also cost for again performing drying by avoiding the moisture absorption of gain during grain drying work performed in a grain drying and storage apparatus. SOLUTION: This grain drying and storage apparatus has a measuring instrument for measuring a moisture value of gain in the container, a measuring instrument foe measuring relative humidity of the open air taken in by a blower and a control part for controlling the operation of the blower and a burner. A blow air condition is grasped as data divided into a region permitting the moisture absorption of grain and a region permitting no moisture absorption of grain from the relation between the moisture of grain in the container measured by the measuring instrument and equilibrium moisture due to the relative humidity of the open air by the control part and it is judged whether a taken-in blow air condition resides in the region not permitting the moisture absorption of grain or the region permitting the moisture absorption of grain by the control part and, on the basis of the judge result, the blower and the burner and controlled so that they are operated when the taken-in open air condition resides in the region not permitting the moisture absorption of grain and stopped when the taken-in open air condition resides in the region permitting the moisture absorption of grain to dry grain.
