PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for stabilizing the driving of the mixer device, especially, mixer cylindrical body arranged in the mixing chamber of a flocculation and sedimentation apparatus. SOLUTION: In the flocculation and sedimentation apparatus 10 equipped with the mixing chamber 14 arranged in a sedimentation tank, the mixer cylindrical body 30, which is arranged in the mixing chamber and of which the upper part is supported in a rotatable manner, and a center shaft 40 of which the upper and lower parts are respectively supported in a rotatable manner, a bearing device 48 having an opening, in which the center shaft is inserted, is attached to the lower part of the mixer cylindrical body. An interval with a predetermined dimension is formed between the inner surface of the bearing device and the outer surface of the center shaft. By this constitution, when the movement of the mixer cylindrical body becomes large, the inner surface of the bearing device comes into contact with the center shaft to minimize the movement of the mixer cylindrical body.
