PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toss batting type batting practice machine for baseball used for personal practice without power to train sight for a moving body including meeting and timing by setting the swing starting timing not by the machine, but hitting upward a ball in an arbitrary timing of a trainee himself and by repeatedly practicing hitting a moving ball, not a stationary ball. SOLUTION: This batting practice machine is characterized in that practice balls are set in a ball receiving tray 5, first a pedal 1 is stepped by a foot (left foot of a right batter, right foot of a left batter), a bat is held at the ready, on releasing the foot from the pedal, a slide 3 connected to a wire 2 works, a bar 9 locked by a hook B7 is released so that the bar works as a seesaw to spring up the ball receiving tray 5, thereby driving out a ball upward. The user of a soft ball such as a sponge ball or the like enables practice in an ordinary dwelling house.
