PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily drill even a long hole in a workpiece. SOLUTION: When a hole having a desired length can not be provided by one-time drilling work, the projecting length of a rotary shaft 11 from a device body 1 can be adjusted by canceling the fixing of a cylinder part 9 to the rotary shaft 11 by a mounting-dismounting mechanism and by correcting the position of the rotary shaft 11 with respect to the cylinder part 9, so that the hole having the desired length can surely be provided. Accordingly, the projecting length of the rotary shaft 11 from the device body 1 can be adjusted only by correcting the position of the rotary shaft 11 with respect to the cylinder part 9, so that the adjustment work can easily be carried out as compared with a conventional technique using an extension shaft, and labor necessary for the drilling work can not only be reduced but also it can be carried out in a short time.
