PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide production method of a high qualityα-olefin-aromatic vinyls copolymer with a controlled catalyst cost and good productivity. SOLUTION: In the production method of theα-olefin-aromatic vinyls copolymer using a catalyst comprising (A) a transition-metal compound and (B) a cocatalyst, the method comprises using the transition-metal compound having a metallocene skeleton with a C1 symmetry and two crosslinking groups as the component (A).
