PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain glass having a high Yong's modulus. SOLUTION: In this composition of glass, the composition ranges of main ingredients are 35 wt.%<=SiO2<=50 wt.%, 5 wt.%<=Al2O3<=30 wt.%, 10 wt.%<=MgO<=18.5 wt.% and 7 wt.%<=TiO2<=9 wt.%.
