PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidification analyzing method with which the developing position, shape and volume of shrinkage cavity in a cast product can simply and easily be predicted and an examination of the analyzed result can be performed in a short time. SOLUTION: In this method of analyzing solidification of cast product, the solidified time distribution of molten metal in an analyzing model is obtained and the shrinkage cavity developed in the analyzed model and this volume, and a table are obtained based on this solidified time distribution and further, on the basis of the table, the shape of the shrinkage cavity developed in the analyzed model is three-dimensionally displayed on the screen. At this time, a different color is assigned to each shrinkage cavity contained in the table and these shrinkage cavities on the screen are shown with each assigned color.
