PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus controller for a laser beam machine capable of continuously performing laser beam machining without interrupting machining. SOLUTION: In the laser beam machine which machines an object W to be machined by condensing laser beams K oscillated from a laser oscillator 15 with a machining lens 16 set up within a laser machining room 11, a room temperature is detected with a temperature sensor S set up within the machining room 11, and the room temperature is controlled to be a set temperature by operating a heat source based on the detected output.
