PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flatten a perforated band like material without crushing perforation of the perforated band like material, to easily conduct the maintenance of a straightening apparatus and to easily control a tension of the straightening apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with pinch rolls 6, which hold front/ tail parts of the perforated band like material R in the flow direction and are arranged to pass the material, fixed rolls 12 disposed between rolls 6 and having angle parts 11 for ironing one face of the perforated band like material R and a straightening unit 7 for perforated band like material provided with 2 sets of pressure rollers 13, which are arranged in offset for the angle part to press the other face of the perforated band like material R toward the angle part and are supported rotatably.
