PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dehydration capacity of a compression chamber. SOLUTION: A feed screw shaft 7 is fitted to a liquid-passing cylinder 4, rotary drives 9, 10 of the shaft 7 are provided thereon, a feed-in passage 11 is formed in a space between a base end side of the liquid-passing cylinder 4 and a portion having blades of the feed screw shaft 7, a press screw shaft 12 is fitted to the liquid-passing cylinder 4, rotary drives 18, 19 of the shaft 12 are provided thereon, a transfer passage 20 is formed in a space between a tip side of the liquid-passing cylinder 4 and a portion having blades of the press screw shaft 12, a compression chamber 21 is formed in a space between the tip of the liquid-passing cylinder 4 and a tip having no blades of the press screw shaft 12, and moving devices 15-17, 25-27 of the press screw shaft 12 are provided. The solid-liquid mixture to be fed to the base end side of the liquid-passing cylinder 4 is fed into the compression chamber 21 via the passages 11, 20 by the rotation of the shafts 7, 12, the solid-liquid mixture in the compression chamber 21 is pressed by the succeeding solid-liquid mixture, and compressed by the rotating and advancing press screw shaft 12.
